Good Neighbors Chile hosted Valparaiso Environment Festival

Good Neighbors Chile held “KEEP GREEN VALPARAÍSO” environment festival on the 9th December, 2017. This festival was held in cooperation with Hyundai Motor Company and VALPARAÍSO government as a part of the environment project “Valparaiso, Gem of Nature”.

The project launched last march has been aiming to improve the community environment in Valparaiso and carried out recycle campaign in 52 public schools. Also, the Environment education center was constructed in order to provide education programs on safety, children’s rights, and environment.

This festival helped the local communities’ better understanding of environment protection. Especially this festival charged 2 plastic bottles as an admission fee to draw the attention of participants.

Mr. Park Heerae (Country Director of Good Neighbors Chile), Mr. Nicolas Baldwin (Branding Manager of Hyundai Motor Company, and Mr. Sebastian Balbontin (PR Manager of Hyundai Motor Company) have joined to celebrate the event.

Various activities including musical performance, and participatory programs were provided on-site and Good Neighbors Chile opened a booth for reel game for recycling, drawing and writing to raise the awareness on the environment.

Ms. Roma Gemini, who participated in the festival, said, “I couldn’t expect such a funny event under the educational topic of environment and am so pleased to have a great memory with my kid.”
